SporcleCon will feature a wide array of individual and team-based events. Because knowledge is fun for everyone, we have designed these events to be inclusive of all skill levels. Some events have cash prizes, some offer raffle tickets, and some offer high fives for the winners.
Choose Your Colors
Before SporcleCon, attendees will choose one of five charities that they’re representing over the course of the weekend. Charity points will be earned for each event attended and/or placed in. At the end of the weekend, Sporcle will make donations to the charities based on overall points earned collectively throughout the weekend.
Battle of the Brains
The signature event of the weekend takes place on Saturday night. Think of a pub trivia night with live performance rounds, unique question types that can only take place at an event like this, etc. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top teams.
Trivia Hunt Hits Embassy Row
SporcleCon is in the heart of Embassy Row. On Friday evening we will hit the streets for a special in-person version of our popular game Trivia Hunt.
The Biggest Sporcle Party
Join us Friday evening for the biggest Sporcle party of all time. Mix and mingle with other quizzers, play some games we have planned, and size up the competition for the weekend. And yes, we’ll play at least one game of Sporcle Party at the Biggest Sporcle Party!
Jeopardy! Auditions
On Sunday, Jeopardy! will be on hand hosting in-person auditions exclusively for SporcleCon attendees.
LearnedLeague Live
The popular live and lively version of the greatest web-based head-to-head trivia league in all the land, hosted by LL Commissioner Thorsten A. Integrity.
Sporcle Conquest
All weekend long take part in different Sporcle quiz challenges. Earn limited edition pins and other prizes for each conquest you complete.
Bootcamp Blitzes
Join us all weekend for 30-minute sessions on various popular quiz topics. Experts from the Sporcle Community will teach you the most likely questions/answers you're likely to encounter on the topic. Each session will end with a quiz to see how well you retained the info. If you're trying to get better at a certain topic, these are for you!
Sporcle Awards
Sporcle is all about the diverse community that lives to quiz. We will be recognizing some individuals within the Sporcleverse with special awards.
BP Titans III
The 3rd iteration of a new, pop culture trivia tournament where teams of 4 compete against each other in a live, buzzer-style trivia match.
SporcleCon Headquarters
Stop in to the SporcleCon HQ anytime during the weekend to play quizzes, challenge other attendees, meet prominent quiz makers, get help creating quizzes, and more.
Charity Challenge Room
When you have downtime, come by the Charity Challenge Room and play some quizzes. A donation will be made at the end of SporcleCon to charities based on the total correct answers earned collectively in this room.
Crack the Safe
In a thrilling combination of escape room, scavenger hunt, and trivia know-how, Crack the Safe will continuously occur throughout the entire convention. Grab a starter packet to begin your adventure through SporcleCon. Search the rooms for clues and puzzles, use your trivia knowledge to fill in information, and solve the puzzles to continue on your quest.
The Eliminator
Join other attendees for a 25-question qualification quiz as the event begins. Place in the top 16 scores of that category's quiz, and you move into the bracket to compete head-to-head in ten-question quizzes on the chosen topic. If you defeat your opponent in the bracket, you move on. If you don't, you're eliminated. The final two participants of each Eliminator will go head-to-head in a hot potato style game to determine the prize winner. There will be ten different Eliminator events over the course of the weekend.
Trivia Game Show Simulations
We'll be creating our own spins on some of your favorite game shows.
Guest Events
The best part of Sporcle is the community of quiz creators and quizzers who make it. We’ll be opening up applications for guests of SporcleCon to present games they’ve created to attendees.
VIP $1k Pub Quiz
A Pub Quiz for VIP ticket holders only with a $1,000 top prize.
Sporcle Events Lounge
Drop in to the Sporcle Events Lounge any time during the weekend where themed events, pub trivia, OpinioNation, Mishmash, and more will be taking place.
