In 20 regular season and tournament games, Rutter has never lost a Jeopardy! match against a human opponent. His only defeat came against Watson, the IBM computer.

  2. Austin Rogers
    Austin Rogers

One of Jeopardy!’s most memorable contestants of all time, Austin Rogers collected over $400,000 in an impressive 12-game win streak. He later returned to captain a team on J! All Stars. Austin hosts the weekly podcast A Lot to Learn.

  3. Susannah Brooks
    Susannah Brooks

Onscreen, Susannah Brooks has appeared as an expert on GSN's Best Ever Trivia Show, in addition to big wins on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Jeopardy!. Off-camera, her wins include Geek Bowl, multiple events at Trivia Nationals/Trivia Championships of North America and the International Quizzing Association's inaugural Americas Quizzing Championship (individual). She lives in Wisconsin, where her hobbies include teaching big words to her small daughter.

  4. Paul Paquet
    Paul Paquet

Paul Paquet's career as a trivia writer has brought him to just about every corner of the quizzing world: he has had a nationally syndicated trivia column and another in Reader's Digest; he's written for Trivial Pursuit, Uncle John's Bathroom Reader, the World Quizzing Championship, Instant Cash (a Canadian TV game show), WWTBAM tie-ins, an online version of 1 vs 100 and many more. He provided about a third of the questions QuizUp launched with and landed a freelance job with HQ when he was one of the early big winners.

  5. Matt Jackson
    Matt Jackson

A native of Washington, DC, Matt Jackson stormed the Jeopardy! stage in 2015 with a 13-game winning streak -- the fifth-longest in the show's history -- and later came in second at the Tournament of Champions and the 2019 Jeopardy! All-Star Games. For several years, he helped produce and organize the PACE National Scholastic Championship, which dozens of high school Quizbowl teams vie for annually. Once described as the Internet's "most GIF-able human," Matt's non-trivia interests include card games, folk music, legislative redistricting, and gelato.

  6. Jason Sterlacci
    Jason Sterlacci

Jason Sterlacci is the Content Strategist for Sporcle and a veteran of multiple forays into live trivia. Prior to joining Sporcle, he was the 2016 Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament winner and a semifinalist in the 2017 Tournament of Champions. In addition, he and his teammates have finished second and fourth at the previous two Geek Bowls, meaning he's accustomed to being on stage for trivia in Las Vegas!

  7. Pam Mueller
    Pam Mueller

Pam Mueller has been appearing on Jeopardy! for half her life. Even after winning the college tournament in 2000, she never imagined all the ways in which Jeopardy! would change her story: different jobs, different cities, and most importantly, an introduction to the fantastic trivia community. Other trivia claims to fame include being a total LearnedLeague hipster--in her first season, there were only 214 players. Finally, despite it ruining her eligibility for any future tournaments, if there were an opening on the J! research/writing staff, she'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

  8. Colby Burnett
    Colby Burnett

Colby Burnett first arrived onscreen, winning the second Jeopardy! Teachers' Tournament of 2012. He followed up by winning the 2013 Tournament of Champions, appearing in the semi-finals of the Battle of the Decades, and captaining a team to the finals of the All-Stars Tournament. In addition, he has also appeared on the reality series "King of the Nerds" and finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at Geek Bowl. After teaching World History for several years, he currently works as a college and career counselor and quiz bowl coach for a high school in Chicago.

  9. Steve Bahnaman
    Steve Bahnaman

Steve Bahnaman was the leading money winner on ABC's "500 Questions." A librarian at Campbell University, Steve is a 15-time A-rundle winner on LearnedLeague and a regular denizen of its top ten. He has also won a few national bar trivia championships and holds some trivia podcast records.

  10. Kristin Sausville
    Kristin Sausville

Kristin Sausville is a 5-time Jeopardy! champion in 2015 and Tournament of Champions quarterfinalist that same year who credits much of her success to her use of Sporcle quizzes for studying. She and her husband, Justin, hold the record for most wins on Jeopardy! by a married couple when both were contestants. She also appeared on Who Wants to be a Millionaire in 2017. She is a stay-at-home mom to two tween sons and lives in Newark, Delaware.

TW is your gateway to a larger world of trivia and your invitation into an awesome community of people who love trivia games just as much as you do.

  12. Trip Payne
    Trip Payne

  13. Victoria Groce
    Victoria Groce

As a member of a team, Jeremy has won Geek Bowl twice and finished in the top 5 in three other Geek Bowl events. He has won the Challenge Entertainment National Trivia League Championship and finished in the top 3 two additional times. He has also won the Team Trivia National tournament once and has one other top 5 finish. He has appeared on multiple game shows including Cash Cab, The Chase, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire where he won $50,000 in 2019.

  15. Dave Leach
    Dave Leach

Dave Leach is a 2011 six-time Jeopardy! winner and 2013 Tournament of Champions semi-finalist. If you asked him at three years old what he'd like to be when he grows up, he'd tell you a game show host; if you ask him today, the answer hasn't changed. Dave is a Sporcle Live pub quiz host in his hometown of Seattle, where he enjoys photography and cooking.
