Correct answers are cities with over 100k inhabitants that are furthest from any international border or coastline within their country. Smaller cities often accepted too. Please note that for definition of coast the rule used is that coast ends where an estuary or fjord width first falls below 1.8 km (roughly 1 nautical mile). Closed-off inner seas (e.g. IJsselmeer) are not regarded coastal. Any enclaves or exclaves have been disregarded. For Russia the Urals count as an edge too.
