February 22, 1980: Mike Eruzione scored the go-ahead goal and eventual game winner of the game soon to be called the Miracle on Ice. I was the Soviet who gave up the goal.
2006 NHL Playoffs: Cam Ward pulls off win after win leading the Carolina Hurricanes to their first ever Stanley Cup. I started in net for the Canes but was pulled after game 2.
August 9, 1988: Wayne Gretzky is traded from the Edmonton Oilers to the Los Angeles Kings. We were the two players that went with him. Name 1 of us.
December 6, 1995: After allowing 9 goals on 26 shots, Patrick Roy was traded from the Montreal Canadiens to the Colorado Avalanche. I went with him.
2005-2006 NHL Season: The year of the rookie phenoms Crosby and Ovechkin. Everyone forgets me, I was nominated for the Calder Trophy that year too ya know.
March 23, 1994: Wayne Gretzky scores his record breaking 802nd career goal. I gave it up.
May 24, 1980: Sure everyone remembers Islander glory years as being the years of Potvin, Bossy, and Trottier, but I scored the goal that ignited a 4 year dynasty in game 6.
April 30, 1986: Steve Smith scores on himself to send the Flames to the Finals. This player was credited with the goal.
