Only changes from time that teams spend in NHL are included. Location or name changes from possible previously leagues in which team played (WHL etc.) are not included. Name changes are concerned as changes when changing and losing words and prefixes (shortening etc.) but not in case of merging words in one compound word if there are no omitted letters. Arena changes are not included as city change if they are out of city limits if it is not indicated in team's city name.
