HintAnswer
TOURNAMENT 1
MIDWEST: No upsets occur in the rounds of 64 and 32, but every other game is an upset.
SOUTH: The No. 1-3 seeds each win exactly two games in the tournament. Every other game is an upset.
WEST: The only upsets occur in games where the favored seed is an even number.
EAST: All multiples of four lose all games. Exactly two prime number seeds make the Final 32. The only other upset? The top remaining seed falls just short of Elite 8.
HintAnswer
TOURNAMENT 2
MIDWEST: No. 1 is the only odd seed to advance to the Final 32. In the round of 32, upsets occur when one seed is evenly divisible by the other. Beyond this, no other upsets occur.
SOUTH: The only upset occurs in the round of 8.
WEST: There are no upsets in the round of 64, only upsets in the round of 32, no upsets in the round of 16, and only upsets in the round of 8.
EAST: Multiples of 3 lose in the round of 64, with no other upsets in the round. Odd seeds win the round of 32. No team has 3 consecutive wins as the fave. No further upsets occur.
HintAnswer
TOURNAMENT 3
MIDWEST: No. 16 defeats No. 1. In every game in the round of 32, one team's seed is evenly divisible by the other team's seed. There are no further upsets, except at Elite 8.
SOUTH: Every game in the round of 16 is an upset. There are otherwise no other upsets in this division.
WEST: Every game in the round of 32 is an upset. There are otherwise no other upsets in this division.
EAST: The No. 16 seed makes it to the Elite 8 but loses there. No upsets occur in games that do not involve the No. 16 seed.

More Info:
  • Assume normal March Madness rules. An "upset" occurs when a team with a worse seed beats a team with a better "favored" seed. Enter all numbers as two-digit numbers (e.g. 02, 14, etc.).
