Some people are set as actors, but are more famous as TV personalities, dancers or singers. Some directors or screen writers are perhaps more known as actors. The reason I set them up in the categories I did, is because they were Oscar nominated in that category.
If someone has never been nominated for an competitive Oscar, but did received an Honorary Oscars, than they are excluded from this list. (e.g. Steve Martin)
