More Info:
  • These are the top 26 longest lifespans recorded in the Bible. Data drawn from the following biblical genealogical records: Genesis 5:1-32, Genesis 11:10-32, and Exodus 6:14-25, as well as the additional passages: Genesis 25:7 (Abraham), Genesis 25:17 (Ishmael), Genesis 35:28 (Isaac), Genesis 47:28 (Jacob), Job 42:16.

** For Job, only the number of years he lived after his recovery are given in the Bible. As he had at least 7 adult sons before his affliction began (Job 1:1-5,) we can safely conclude that he was at least 40 at that time. His age at death was thus almost certainly at least 180, but even the stated 140 years alone place him safely in this list.
