Leader: Gentlemen, you represent the armed forces, you know what this test means.
Marla [to Nolan]: Tell me more about being a flight instructor, the boys you trained to fly, what are they like today?
Nolan: That was Tuesday night I saw you. Marla: Uh-uh. Wednesday.
Wilson: Now don't misunderstand me. I don't want to make you feel terrible, but I always said I'd never die in a plane.
Wilson: The whole panel is dead, Joe. As dead as we'll be if we don't ditch this baby and bail out.
[plane crash-lands]
Nolan: Break out the guns and ammunition.
[Troops walk into a native village]
Nolan: You know English? Native Woman: From missionary school, island over there, where my people go.
Wilson: It seems like we've been climbing for days.
Tatlow: Hey, doc, is your head clear?
Wilson: You got an appointment someplace? Nolan: Yeah, with the rocket.
Nolan: We've hit the top!
Tatlow: I've gone colorblind!
Rostov: We may have hit something important, Major.
Rostov: That stuff is the most mysterious element in nature.
Nolan: My calendar says 20th century AD, not 100 million BC.
Tatlow: Hey, doc, ain't there some other way to get to those uranium fields?
Phillips: Do you know what a miracle is?
Rostov: No country can survive when it loses the respect of its own people and the world.
