  • An abundant number is any number where the sum of its proper divisors (every divisor besides the number itself) is greater than the number itself. As an example, the number 4's proper divisors are 1 and 2. The sum is 3. Therefore, 4 is *not* abundant. Similarly, perfect numbers like 6 (1+2+3) are also not abundant.
    As a bonus for reading this far, no odd numbers under 100 are abundant.
