A) A number word is an English word that contains the letters of a number. For example the number word for 50 is fifty. If FIFTY is in all CAPS then it is in correct spelling order in the quiz. If not in all caps then the letters of the number word could be mixed up in a column, row or diagonal. (ie- column 1 could be yffit, row 5 could be tyfif, etc). In addition, the letters don't have to be adjacent to each other. For example, if the number word two was in row 3 then row 3 could be for example- w5otk, or to6sw. As long as the t-w and o are somewhere in row 3. B) ... indicates the clue is continued in another cell or continued from another cell. C) There is a walk-through if you click on the Source button at the bottom of the page.
