C(WAR 57.55) A Hall-of-Fame manager who was also a great player. He won the 1971 MVP for STL, and then won 6 pennants and 4 World Series for NYY from 1996-2003.
1B(WAR 112.41) The 'Iron Horse' who played in 2,130 consecutive games (2nd all time). He was elected to the Hall of Fame shortly after he found out he was diagnosed with a disease that now bears his name.
2B(WAR 123.96) Hall-of-Famer who won the MVP in 1914, and was 2nd place twice ('23, '24). The all time leader in Sacrifice Hits (512), having over 100 more than the 2nd place holder. Played from 1906-'14 and '27-'30 with the A's and 1915-'26 with the White Sox. Has the most Assists ever at 2B.
SS(WAR 117.78) Third all time in RBI behind Aaron and Ruth, this SS/3B is currently the main squeeze of J-Lo. Won 3 MVP's (2003, '05, '07) and 14 All Star games. A member of the 2009 Yankee Champions. Heavily suspected of steroid use.
3B(WAR 53.31) Hall-of-Fame 3B who helped the 1903 Red Sox to the World Championship. He had 1,999 career hits, and is 2nd all time in put-outs at 3B.
LF(WAR 96.37) Hall-of-Famer who played his whole career with the Red Sox, winning the Triple Crown in 1967. An 18x All Star who hit .367 in 3 post-season series.
CF/3B(WAR 47.06) Played CF for the Pirates from 1900-'11, and came back in '18. A member of the 1909 World Champions who had 2,143 hits. Had the same last name as the host of 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.'
RF(WAR 54.16) Had one of the longest nicknames 'Hit 'em Where They Aint.' He had almost 3,000 hits in his Hall-of-Fame career. In his 19 year career, played 15 in New York (for the Giants, Yanks, and Dodgers). #1 all time in least K's per At Bat.
DH(WAR 68.43) One of the best righthanded hitters of all time made the Hall-of-Fame in 2019. He was a 7x All Star who won two batting titles in 1992 and '95. Played his whole career for the Seattle Mariners.
SP(WAR 99.69) Hall-of-Famer who pitched all but his final season for the Braves (1942-'64). Won the 1957 Cy Young going 21-11 with a 2.69 ERA and 18 complete games. He was a 17x All Star who helped the Braves win the 1957 World Series. Ended his career with 363 Wins, 382 complete games, and 2,583 K's.
SP(WAR 75.35) Hall-of-Famer who went 60-12 with a 1.38 ERA in 1884 (yes SIXTY wins). 8th all time with 488 complete games. In 1884, he was 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA leading the Providence Grays to the World Championship.
SP(WAR 68.43) Underwear-selling Hall-of-Famer who pitched his whole career with BAL (1965-'84). A 3x Cy Young winner who won 20 games seven times. Helped the Orioles win 3 World Series (1966, '70, '83).
SP(WAR 62.27) 307-game winning Hall-of-Famer won at least 20 games every year from 1883-'89. His last name is the same as a well-known Jelly company.
SP(WAR 56.88) 'The Chairman of the Board' who was elected to the Hall-of-Fame in 1974. Has the most wins as any pitcher for the NYY (236).
RP(WAR 54.15) Starter and Reliever for the NYY, helping them to three World Series (1923, '27, '28). The Hall-of-Famer was known to start 25 games, and come in to relieve between 10-15 every season. His first name is a synonym for 'pause,' and he pitched fro 6 other teams after leaving NYY.
RP(WAR 39.88) Starter and Reliever for PIT from 1975-85, and '93. Went 20-5 in 1977, and helped PIT to beat BAL in the 1979 World Series. 40% of his games came as a reliever for PIT, CAL, and 6 other teams.
RP(WAR 22.55) Reliever for the Braves and SFG who was second in career games pitched for any NY-born player. Same last name as the owner of WWE.
RP(WAR 21.06) One of the first closers in the NL, as he would do the job for PIT from 1953-'68. He was a 6x All Star who had 191 saves, leading baseball 2x. Helped the Pirates to the 1960 World Series. His last name was Templeton Peck's nickname on 'The A-Team.'
CP(WAR 23.56) Had 424 saves, which is 5th all time. Began with CIN, going to 3 All Star games before moving to his hometown NYM in 1990. A fan favorite in Shea, he would have 276 saves from 1990-2004.
SS/OF(WAR 84.30) Hall-of-Fame player who starred for the NYG and CHW from 1893-1909. Led baseball in RBI in 1897, ending his career with over 1,400. Had the same last name as the African-American member of the singing group 'the Rat Pack.'
1B(WAR 78.66) 19th Century Hall-of-Famer. He won 5 batting titles, and had a lifetime .342 average (9th All Time). Nicknamed 'Big Dan' who was elected by the Old Timers Committee in 1945.
SS/3B(WAR 75.42) Infielder who played for the Cubs from 1891-'98. Then played for the Dodgers from 1899-1903, '10-11. A member of the 1905 World Champions (NYG), Defensively has the 4th most Assists and 2nd most Errors-committed of all time.
2B(WAR 75.11) Has the 4th-most games at 2B, playing every one for DET from 1977-'95. He won the '78 Rookie of the Year, and helped the Tigers to the '84 World Series. His double-play partner entered the Hall of Fame in 2018.
2B(WAR 70.38) Hall-of-Famer played from 1919-37 for NYG and STL. Led the Veterans Committee of the Hall-of-Fame, and got at least 5 controversial elections into Cooperstown.
2B/C/OF(WAR 65.52) Played his whole Hall-of-Fame career for the Astros from 1988-2007. A member of the 'Killer B's' who is second all time in being hit-by-pitch. Ended his career with 3,060 hits, and was 5th in career doubles (668).
