1B (MN)(WAR 38.59) Played his entire career for his home-town Twins from 1981-'94. He was a 1x All Star who helped the Twins to two World Series ('89, '91). Had 1,086 RBI and 12 RBI in the post season.
2B (SD)(WAR 33.67) The A's 2B from 2002-'11. Hit .262 with 550 RBI and a great .991 fielding percentage. He would play for COL, LAD, and STL from 2011-'14.
3B (MN)(WAR 2.14) Hit .255 as a pinch hitter and 3B in his 13 year career (1957-'71). A Bloomington HS star whose last name is the same as the founder of Wendy's.
OF (MN)(WAR 64.20) Hall-of-Famer who was drafted by the MLB, NFL, NBA, and ABA. Ended his career with 3,110 hits and 465 HR's. He was a 12x All Star who helped the Blue Jays win the '92 WS.
OF (MN/ND)(WAR 38.16) A 2x MVP (1960, '61) who had 253 RBI in his combined MVP seasons. But he's most famous for hitting 61 home runs in 1961, surpassing Babe Ruth's single-season HR record.
OF (ND)(WAR 32.37) Played 11 of his 14 year career with the Angels. He punted for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was a hit-king, having 240 in 2000 and ending his career just shy of 1,700 hits.
DH (MN)(WAR 75.71) The first Hall-of-Famer to be recognized as a DH. Had 3,371 hits and helped the Blue Jays win the 1993 WS. A 7x All Star who led baseball in hits 3x.
SP (MN)(WAR 53.64) Pitched 12 of his 19 years with the NYM. Won 140 games for the Mets from 1967-'78 with a 3.07 ERA. Won 2 games vs. BAL in the 1969 WS.
SP (MN)(WAR 47.33) Hall-of-Famer who picthed 12 of his 16 years for Connie Mack's A's (from 1903-'14). Won 212 while only losing 127 with a 2.46 ERA. Was 5-2 in the World Series from 1910-'13.
SP (MN)(WAR 43.44) Made the Hall-of-Fame in 2018. His performance for the Twins, throwing a 1-0 10 inning shutout in the 1991 World Series, was legendary. He would be on 3 WS teams ('84 Tigers, '91 Twins, '92 Blue Jays).
SP (SD)(WAR 26.33) Pitched for 15 seasons on 6 different teams, making an All Star game for SEA in 1982. Pitched best for the CWS, winning 66 games from 1983-'87.
SP (MN)(WAR 24.23) Pitched for all but 1 season for the Marlins. From 2009-'10 he went 26-11 with a 2.80 ERA, both All Star seasons. Traded to the Blue Jays in 2013 where injuries made him retire at just 29 years old.
RP (MN)(WAR 37.29) Pitched 118 of his 488 games in the bullpen, recording 20 saves. Won 196 games and 3 WS Championships. Same last name as the President during Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.
RP (MN)(WAR 36.78) 44% of his games pitched were as a reliever. Won 10 games for the A's from 1926-'32. He's not the owner of a gourmet burger franchise with his brothers from Boston.
RP (MN)(WAR 23.10) Mostly a middle-reliever in his 12-year career. But he did go 87-72 as a starter for the Twins from 1974-'79. On the 1981 WS Dodgers.
CP (SD)(WAR 20.41) Closer for the early 70's CHW, saving 75 games. He would later came in relief for the Dodgers and Braves from 1978-1985.
CP (SD)(WAR 20.67) The closer for the 2004 Red Sox that 'broke the curse.' Had 100 saves for CHW, 47 for BOS, and 44 for OAK. Won Rolaids Reliever of the Year in 2003.
C (MN)(WAR 27.99) A solid-hitting catcher for OAK and MIN who made 3 All Star games (including one All Star MVP, 1988). Helped OAK win the 1989 World Series, and had 35 Homers and 100 RBI in the 1996 season.
DH (ND)(WAR 24.79) DH for the Indians from 2003-'12. A power-hitter who hit at least 24 HRs every season from '04 to '07. 688 of his 731 career RBI for CLE, but ended his career in Yankee Stadium.
1B (MN)(WAR 19.38) Played 8 seasons (4 each with the CHW and Senators from 1912-1919). Had over 1,100 hits and a .986 fielding percentage. On the 1917 WS White Sox team.
OF/1B (SD)(WAR 15.79) Mostly known for being a pinch-hitter for the Reds , NYY, TOR, and DET from 1978-'89. Has the same last name as one member of the band Genesis who later had a great solo career.
C (MN)(WAR 13.33) Played his whole 11 year career with the NYG, helping them to the '54 World Series. Known for his defense, where he threw out more runners than league average every season but his first. Made 3 All Star teams.
OF (MN)(WAR 13.22) A member of the Twins from 1982-84 before retiring to deal with Tourette Syndrome. He would return to baseball 3 seasons later, and help the 1997 Marlins win the World Series (as a pinch hitter).
1B (MN)(WAR 5.22) Played from 2010-'14 as a pinch-hitter and 1B for the Mets. Injured in 2011 after a strong rookie season in 2010, he'd never get back to form. Hit .239 as a career, but decent power with 81 HR and 291 RBI (.414 SLG).
