If you're familiar with the Cleveland area you might be thinking to yourself, "Cleveland seems a lot bigger than the 31st-biggest city in the country". And you'd be right. That's because this list is based on the US Census Bureau's definition of Metropolitan Statistical Area, which in Cleveland's case excludes the Akron and Canton MSAs. San Francisco & San Jose are a similar example. If you tried my "100 Largest" version of this quiz, you'd notice that the Census Bureau's definition puts Raleigh and Durham NC in separate MSAs. Like wth, those two towns are right next to each other lol
