• Milo’s clue tells us that everyone must be adjacent to at least one other person on their floor. Adam’s clue tells us that there are only 3 people on the 6th floor, and that the other 2 must be women (his wife and his daughter). Since Adam is only adjacent to 3 people, and 2 of them are men, then Gina must also live on the 6th floor, as she is the only woman adjacent to Adam.
• Gina’s clue says that Omar lives somewhere above Milo (who is on the 3rd floor), but somewhere below Quentin. This means that Omar must be on the 4th or 5th floor, and Quentin is on the 5th or 6th. However, Quentin cannot be on the 6th floor, as the other person on the 6th floor must be a woman adjacent to Gina (see Adam’s clue and Milo’s clue). Therefore, Quentin is on the 5th floor, and Omar is on the 4th.
• Omar’s clue says the last column is in descending order, and Omar is on the 4th, so Joseph must either be on the 4th, 5th, or 6th. He cannot be on the 6th floor (the remaining person on the 6th floor must be a woman adjacent to Gina), and he cannot be on the 5th floor because Quentin’s clue says no one in the second row lives on an odd numbered floor. Therefore, Joseph must be on the 4th floor.
• Since Joseph is only adjacent to one other person on the 4th floor, and he is already adjacent to Omar on the 4th floor, Emily cannot be on the 4th floor. She also cannot be on the 6th floor, because she is not adjacent to Gina. Since her column is in descending order (see Omar’s clue), she must be on the 5th floor.
• Like Emily, Imogen cannot be on the 4th (adjacent to Joseph) or 6th floor (not adjacent to Gina). She must be on an even numbered floor (see Quentin’s clue), so by process of elimination she is on the 2nd floor.
• Emily must be adjacent to someone else on the 5th floor (see Milo’s clue), and the only person adjacent to her without a floor yet is Diego, so he must also be on the 5th floor.
• Using the information from Emily and Diego’s clues, we can determine the following top-to-bottom order: Neal — Xavier — Luther — Penny, with Heather also somewhere below Xavier. Because Neal has at least 3 people on 3 different floors beneath him, Neal must be on the 4th, 5th or 6th floor. However, Neal is adjacent to Joseph, who is on the 4th floor and only adjacent to one other person on the 4th floor, so Neal cannot be on the 4th floor. Neal is also not a woman adjacent to Gina, so cannot be on the 6th floor. Therefore, Neal is on the 5th floor. Diego’s clue says Xavier is directly below Neal, so Xavier is on the 4th floor.
• Xavier’s clue tells us that Heather does not share a floor with either Luther or Penny, and we know that they are all below the 4th floor (see Emily and Diego’s clues). Since Heather is in the 2nd row, she must be on an even floor (Quentin’s clue), and the only even floor below the 4th floor is the 2nd floor, so Heather must be there. This means Luther is on the 3rd floor (since he is above Penny), and Penny is on the 1st floor.
• There is only room for one more person on the 6th floor, and that person must be a woman who is adjacent to Gina (see Adam and Milo’s clues), which means it must be either Kara or Carrie. Penny’s clue tells us that Tanya and Kara live on the same floor, so Kara cannot live on the 6th floor, because there is no room there for Tanya. Therefore, the final person on the 6th floor must be Carrie.
• Bryce must be adjacent to someone else on his floor (see Milo’s clue). He cannot be on the 6th floor because it is full, and Carrie’s clue says that Bryce does not live on the 2nd floor like Heather. Therefore, he must be on the same floor as Felix, who is the only person adjacent to him. Since Felix is in the 2nd row, he must be an on even number floor. Since Bryce (and therefore Felix) cannot be on the 2nd or 6th floors, they must both be on the 4th floor.
• Penny’s clue says that Kara and Tanya are on the same floor. Tanya’s column is in descending order (see Omar’s clue), so she and Kara must be on a floor lower than or the same as Omar’s; Omar is on the 4th, so this rules out the 5th and 6th floors for Tanya and Kara. They also cannot be on the 4th floor because Joseph’s clue tells us that there are only 6 people on the 4th floor, and we have already placed 5 of them–adding Kara and Tanya would make it 7. They cannot be on the 2nd floor, because Kara is not adjacent to anybody on the 2nd (see Milo’s clue).  Bryce’s clue says Tanya is above Ruth, so Tanya and Kara can’t be on the 1st floor, either. Thus, by process of elimination, Kara and Tanya must be on the 3rd floor.
• Since Ulysses is above Tanya (see Bryce’s clue), who is on the 3rd floor, he must be on either the 4th or 5th floor (the 6th floor is full). There are only 6 people in the puzzle on the 4th floor (see Joseph’s clue), and of the 5 who have been identified, only Xavier has none adjacent to him. Whoever the final 4th floor person is, they must be adjacent to Xavier (see Milo’s clue), which Ulysses is not. Therefore, Ulysses is on the 5th floor.
• Penny must be adjacent to someone else on the 1st floor (see Milo’s clue), and the only person this can be is Victoria.
• Neal must be adjacent to someone else on the 5th floor, but it cannot be Ruth, since she is below Tanya (see Bryce’s clue), who is on the 3rd floor. Therefore, it must be Stuart who is on the 5th floor.
• Tanya must be adjacent to someone else on the 3rd floor, and the only remaining option is Yvonne, so Yvonne must be on the 3rd floor.
• Xavier must be adjacent to someone else on the 4th floor, but it cannot be Ruth, since she is below Tanya (Bryce’s clue), who is on the 3rd floor. Therefore, the last person on the 4th floor must be Will.
• Since Ruth is below Tanya, who is on the 3rd floor, Ruth must either be on the 1st or 2nd floors. No one adjacent to Ruth is on the 2nd floor, so she cannot live there. Therefore she must be on the 1st floor, which works because she is adjacent to Victoria, who is also on the 1st floor.
