Welcome to A Little More, which is our weekly look at some of our favorite questions from last week at Sporcle Events pub quiz shows. Q: The titles of Beyoncé’s 2003 debut solo studio album and the first single from that album both end in what two words?
A: In Love

A Little More – Dangerously in Love, the album, produced the lead single “Crazy in Love.” The song featured a rap verse and ad-libs from her future husband Jay-Z.

Another Bey Fun Fact – Beyoncé and her sister, Solange, were the first pair of sisters to each have a #1 solo album on the Billboard 200.

Q: Who was the first U.S. First Lady to fly in an airplane while serving as First Lady, including a flight with Amelia Earhart in 1933?
A: Eleanor Roosevelt

A Little More – Amelia Earhart and Eleanor Roosevelt flew from Washington, DC, to Baltimore in 1933. Both Earhart and Roosevelt (who had applied for a student pilot license) briefly took the controls of the Eastern Air Transport Curtiss Condor.

Roosevelt was also the first First Lady to host a weekly radio show and the first First Lady to speak at a national party convention, among other accomplishments.

Q: Based on figures from QSR Magazine, the apps for McDonald’s and Starbucks were the most downloaded quick-service restaurant apps in the United States in 2022. Name two of the next five restaurants whose apps were most downloaded in this category, each of which had at least 7.5 million new downloads.
A: Domino’s, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin’, and Pizza Hut

A Little More – McDonald’s app had 40 million downloads in 2022. This is more than Dunkin’, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, Burger King, and Subway combined. Keep an eye on Panda Express in 2023. In December 2022, they where the biggest month-over-month grower, pulling in 43 percent more installs than it did in November.
