Sporcle Live Spotlight: The Blarney Irish Pub

Sporcle Live Spotlight: The Blarney Irish Pub

The Blarney Irish Pub, Toledo, Ohio

Authentically Irish inside and out, that’s The Blarney Irish Pub! It started with a vision to bring Ireland to Ohio after owner Ed Beczynski visited over 35 pubs in Ireland in March 2006. Eight months later, Blarney Irish Pub opened with interior accoutrements shipped from Ireland in a building realistic enough to house it all.

Come in, grab a seat, and enjoy traditional fare like Irish Boxty – corned beef and cabbage served between two potato pancakes and topped with mustard cream sauce. The Salmon Boxty option highlights grilled salmon served between two potato pancakes topped with cucumber, red onion, and capers with a zesty dill sauce. How about Shepherd’s Pie? Blarney’s Pie is loaded with 100% ground lamb, caramelized carrots, parsnips, onions, demi-glace, and peas with house-made garlic mashed potatoes. Lastly, The Blarney’s Famous Fish & Chips – beer-battered, fresh North Atlantic cod served with coleslaw and your choice of fries or chips – are a slice of Irish heaven!

There are plenty of other food temptations to satisfy your appetite on the menu from “Drinking Bites,” sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and delectable desserts.

The Blarney also adjoins an event center that is perfect to celebrate your special event. Since The Blarney Irish Pub is conveniently located in the Historic Warehouse/Entertainment District of downtown Toledo close to the action of hockey, baseball, concerts, and conventions, it’s perfect for your event, whether it’s a class reunion, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, or company party.

Every Friday and Saturday, The Blarney features live music for your enjoyment. To brighten the start of your workweek on Mondays, join friends and competitors for two games of Sporcle Live Trivia, where you can compete for fun and prizes!

Make sure to join us soon for dinner, drinks, entertainment, or for your next event!
