The Pike Brewing Company, Seattle, Washington
It’s hard to believe there was a time when Pike Brewing Company’s cornerstone IPA was first introduced way back in 1990, when IPAs were rare and most people turned their noses up at the thought of more than mild hops. Pike paved the way and kept its nose to the grindstone. Good thing, too. The Pike has won over the masses, including being named as “one of the 300 beers to try before you die” and also, “one of the five best IPAs in the U.S.”
On the success of the beer as its foundation, Pike Brewing Company has introduced its upscale, family-friendly pub featuring classics such as hand-formed burgers, fresh salads, crab chowder brought to you by a friendly service staff knowledgeable about every beverage on the menu. From the flagship IPA, the black IPA Octopus Ink, or the Pike Pils, you’ll have the inside information on which liquid pairs perfectly with all the yumminess on the menu, like the Dungeness Crab and Artichoke Dip perfectly mixed crabmeat, artichoke hearts, onions, and parmesan; the Smoked Salmon Salad, tossed with greens, cucumbers and roasted tomatoes in lemon dill vinaigrette, or the Ale Braised Bratwurst, freshly made Uli’s Kilt Lifter Bratwurst served with Chef Gary’s Apple Sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, with Pike’s award-winning XXXXX Stout mustard.
Also on the premises is the Tankard & Tun Restaurant, which includes an oyster bar, dining room, brew deck, and the private mezzanine alongside an expanded fermentation cellar.
On Tuesdays at 7 & 8 PM, Pike highlights two games of Sporcle Live Trivia with prizes for the winners!
