Curragh Irish Pub

Curragh Irish Pub, Skokie, Illinois

Authentically Irish is exactly what you’ll feel as soon as you stroll through the doors of Curragh Irish Pub – the carved wood, softly lit dining areas, traditional Irish cuisine, and friendly bar staff, it’s like you’ve walked into a place right off Temple Bar. The Curragh is a true taste of Ireland.

The lunch and dinner menus will stimulate all your culinary senses with starters like Ceili Spuds – potato skins with crumbled Applewood-smoked bacon and Dubliner cheese topped with scallions and sour cream, or Shrimp Ballyvaughan – bacon-wrapped shrimp drizzled with garlic butter and served with remoulade sauce.

Irish classics on the menu include Guinness Fish & Chips made from the finest, wild-caught Icelandic cod dipped in Guinness batter, fried golden brown and served with steak fries, coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce. The Gaelic Steak is a palate pleaser, a 12 oz. New York strip steak with onion, mushrooms, whiskey cream sauce accompanied by seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes. The Irish Stew is mixed with tender pieces of lamb slow cooked with carrots, potatoes and herbs and served with locally-made soda bread.

There is also an extensive beer list and spirits menu!

The Curragh Irish Pub welcomes Sporcle Live Trivia every Thursday night for two games beginning at 8 PM!
