Sporcle Live Spotlight: Green Lantern Pizzeria

Green Lantern Pizzeria

Green Lantern Pizzeria, Clinton Township, Michigan

No relation to the superhero, the Green Lantern Pizzeria location in Clinton Township opened in 2013 and is every bit the spinoff of the original. It’s an old-school neighborhood place where you can feel at home and chow down on some of the best pizza around!

Don’t let the name fool you, though! Pizza is definitely what Green Lantern is famous for, but everything on the menu is heroic. You absolutely cannot leave without trying the signature Lantern Bread, but make sure to either bring your appetite or a few friends because a small order is 10 pieces; you’ll need a small town to finish off a large 20-piece order!

Bacon, bacon, bacon! If there’s an appetizer that is just bacon, how can you resist? The Candy-Coated Bacon Strips are five pieces of gloriously skewered bacon strips covered in brown sugar and barbequed with just a taste of cayenne pepper.

The homemade Jalapeño Poppers are the standout of the menu! Bacon-wrapped, stuffed with cream cheese and chives, and served with fresh-made Pepper Jack cheese sauce, this is the appetizer that you don’t have to share with friends or relatives…we won’t tell.

With 10 different types of pizzas on the menu, plus the ones you can make up in your head, you’re in Pizza Heaven!

Green Lantern Pizzeria features Sporcle Live Trivia on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM for the perfect side dish for your pizza pie!
