Presidents Pub, Washington, Pennsylvania
The newly renovated and drop-dead gorgeous Presidents Pub is open for lunch and dinner! After you’ve inhaled the breathtaking surroundings, waltz right on into the 3,500 square foot restaurant that has spacious seating with seven large-screen TVs and a virtually endless bar.
There are 24 taps featuring mostly craft beers, but there are also bottled and canned brews for your enjoyment. Presidents Pub cocktails, though, will not highlight any trendy mixed drinks. Beverage director Steve Kowalczuk says his focus is on pre-Prohibition-style cocktails, which he considers the purest way to make them. “Our focus will be more on spirits and will be less sweet,” he says.
But less sweet does not mean less delicious. All Presidents Pub drinks – named in nod to past events and people – are tasty and thirst-quenching. From the First Lady to the Presidential Pardon or the Inaugural Ball, every sip is historic!
And every week is offers an opportunity to try something new! There is Open Mic night every Tuesday at 8 PM. Wednesday is Date Night featuring their amazing Dinner for Two special. Thursday night is Trivia Night with two games of free Sporcle Live Trivia starting at 7 PM. The Pièce de Résistance is a Jazz Brunch on Sunday, supporting the Washington Jazz Society, complete with Bloody Marys and bottomless Mimosas!
Presidents Pub is open from 11 AM to 2 AM daily with kitchen hours until 10 PM Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday.
