Monday Morning Links: December 26th, 2016 Edition

(Last Updated On: December 10, 2018)

Happy Monday! Or as I like to think of it, pre-pre-pre-pre-Friday.

Welcome back to this slightly new feature to the Sporcle blog called ‘Monday Morning Links’. These short and sweet posts will link to some fun sites around the internet. This week’s MML  brings you some Sporcle Embedded sites and but also a couple of sites that we at SporcleHQ ended up discussing.

1) Calling all Muggles.

Our friends over at Mugglenet have tons of Sporcle Harry Potter quizzes. If you are a Potter nerd, this is definitely the place for you.

2) Can you name the goalscorers in the Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton since 2000?

From the good folks across the pond over at paddypower, comes this article and embedded quiz about the Merseyside Derby

3) Australia brings you a giant spider carrying a mouse.

For no apparent reason this topic dominated a bit of time at SporcleHQ after we posted this article in one of our Slack channels.

4) Reddit overhauls upvote algorithm.

This bit of news also come up at SporcleHQ. When we are not Sporcling (or working) we like to spend some quality time on Reddit. The folks over at Techcrunch had this interesting read about the upvote algorithm.

5) Sporcle Fridays on Lookout Landing.

If you are a Mariner’s fan, and let’s be honest you should be, then the guys and gals over at Lookout Landing have this great quiz page chock full of Mariner’s Sporcle quizzes. They tend to post new quizzes every Friday.

Stay tuned next week where we bring the links from more around the web.
