Over here in Sporcle-land, we’ve been thinking about ways to spice the blog up a bit and get regular content out there for our loyal readers to peruse. To that end, we’re writing a weekly blog post featuring a quiz published within the last 7 days that really wowed us.

About the Quiz Maker
This was QuizFox’s very first Sporcle publish. Ten months after creating an account, QuizFox hit the homepage with a bang! Good job!
What’s the Quiz About?
Larger than Canada asks you to complete a simple task. Click all of the places with a larger population than Canada. Little did you know, you’d have to sift through cities, states, countries, and continents, as well as a few other miscellaneous places.
Of course, it also helped to have knowledge of these populations prior to starting the quiz. We hope you brought your thinking caps folks, it required quite the brain!
What Did Users Think?
We liked this humorous comment by kristen58: ‘Ok if anyone clicked Antarctica….’
And we really liked this response from opusthepenguin: ‘I was going to call you on the blatant disregard for my people. But looking it up, I see that only about 5 million penguins actually live on Antarctica. Apparently all the others just vacation there.’
The quiz had a lovely day on the top of the homepage, garnering more than 26,000 plays and a 4.7 rating.
