Who’s ready for a new round of badges? We’ve got three great ones for you, including a brand new holiday badge. As always, check the badge page for the latest updates.
Luck of the Irish: Feeling lucky? That’s great, because on St. Patrick’s Day the Luck of the Irish badge is on your side. Just play Kiss Me…I’m Irish!, Things That Are Green and The Saint Patrick’s Day Quiz on St. Patrick’s Day.
March Madness: The odds of crafting a perfect bracket are one in 4.3 billion, it’s really much easier to just play 33 NCAA D-I Teams quizzes to earn this badge.
Stork Stalker: The idea of a giant stork with a baby rattle sort of freaks us out, but that shouldn’t stop you from playing 25 total Baby Names games to earn this badge. At least we hope so.
I think there’s an issue with the Stork Stalker badge. I got an email from my old Sporcle account that I no longer used saying I had earned it, and it showed up on the badge page, but it doesn’t show up on my current one, but the other two do.
Hi, Anna – Please write to us at feedback@sporcle.com and we’ll look into what’s going on!
Not necessary, I received it about 6 hours after writing this. Thanks, though. 🙂
Question: Since I played all three games from the “Luck of the Irish” badge group–all ON St Patrick’s Days (2013, 2012, and 2010), shouldn’t I have the badge automatically in my list of earned badges? I got the “Stork Stalker” badge without playing games since the badge was introduced, so I’d think that playing the three “Luck of the Irish” games on March 17 (albeit in different years) would earn the badge automatically.
Holiday badges don’t backfill, so you’ll need to play them again this year. Thanks for following the site through the years!
I’ve played all the D-1 quizzes (my username and stats show up at the bottom of the page for each quiz), but I haven’t earned the badge. Any idea why?
