Sporcler of the Week (01/27)

Just about every Friday, Sporcle announces our latest Sporcler of the week. We typically highlight a user we’ve noticed doing great things on the site recently, or honoring someone for their body of work as a whole. This week we honor a user who has done an excellent job as a curator: nscox

nscox is currently the Sporcle curator for WWE and Olympics and has a healthy quizmaster score of 2,371. We appreciate all the great work!

Be sure to check back again next week for the latest ‘Sporcler of the Week’ announcement!

  1. Dear Sporcle and Sporcle users,
I like making games and quizzes on sporcle, and i always see quizzes with several categories or columns such as the quiz, FAMOUS FOURSOMES, for an example. Can anyone enlighten me on how to make different categories or columns in one quiz like that? Also, how do you get headings for the categories?
    Thanks,

  2. Hey Waffle,

So to do that, look at these screenshots of a quiz that I have done that has the same principle.
In the first picture here: http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/2931/test1zk.png, you can see that the first column must have the same thing in it. Exactly the same, so copy and paste for each one to make sure of no mistakes. This is the header to each column in the quiz. Then add your answers in the answer column. The third column, on my quiz ‘# letters’, can remain blank if you want it to look like ‘famous foursomes’.

In this picture: http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/6475/test2fz.png, you need to ‘group answers with same hint’ and specify the number of columns. I chose 4 columns, and the end results is shown in this screenshot: http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/925/test3wu.png

Hope that helps, message back or email me if you need anymore help.
