Mike is involved with a number of networking groups to help support Chicago Film and Entertainement. Mike also plays harmonica, guitar and violin in his spare time, and has worked as a wedding DJ and wedding coordinator. I’m a huge Trekkie, I love baseball & movies. I’m also a producer on a comic book podcast. Yep, livin’ the dream! But the reason I wanted to become a Trivia MC is I’ve seen good trivia and I’ve seen bad trivia, and I want to spread upbeat, fast-paced trivia all over Chicago. Corey Rittmaster spends most of his time as a Chicago actor and comedian. This means he sits in casting office waiting rooms playing the Sporcle app on his phone for hours on end. He recently toured with The Second City on board Norwegian Cruise Lines in Alaska, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Locally, he’s performed sketch, improv, and stand-up comedy at such places as Laugh Out Loud Theater, The Annoyance, The Playground, and The Paper Machete, as well as at festivals in Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City and Milwaukee. Corey has also appeared in numerous TV commercials for everything from culinary school to cleaning products, even showing up in a Super Bowl ad this year, so if you’re thinking “Hey, is that the guy who…” well, it probably is. My name is Jennice (Jen-NIECE), but my good friends call me Baby J (but I don’t fight UFC). Unless you’re the 2 year-old I babysit- she calls me Guhneice (life’s hard when you’re 2). I moved to Chicago from LA last year because I hate sunshine, warm weather, and myself. JK — Chitown is an amazing city and I’m excited to call it home these days. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and I was a double major in Theatre & Communications Arts and Business Administration. Fun fact- upon graduation I had 5 medals from my college. One of them is in jello wrestling.

I love playing games- some of my most fond memories growing up in Albuquerque, NM (that’s NEW Mexico, and yes it is in the United States) were playing board games with my parents and two older sisters. Once we played a game that my step-mom wouldn’t let us play until we were all 14+ and included a VHS that hosted the game- he was a scary old guy (think crypt keeper) who kept calling us maggots. That game was nuts- we still have it. Bonus points if you can tell me the name of it. Soooo hosting Trivia with Sporcle is straight up my alley, but I never call anyone maggot. Unless it’s their team name.

Matt Chiaramonte was born in a small cabin outside of Reno, Nevada. From an early age, Matt’s parents forced him to host trivia games in his crib. As soon as he was able to walk, he would spend 14 hours a day lugging a P.A. system up and down a nearby hill. By the age of 7 he knew virtually everything there is to know about hosting trivia. In 1997, Matt had a chance meeting with Thadeus T. Sporcle, the founder of the Sporcle empire. He told Matt, “One day, all this will be yours.”

Flashforward to 16 years later, Matt hosts a couple trivia games in Wrigleyville and Rogers Park. Sure, he hasn’t quite lived up to his potential. But at least he moved out of that cabin. They used to make him eat mice.
