When Mr. Incredible popped up, I was confused for a minute because I couldn't find Reed Richards. Apparently, I thought I had read Mr. Fantastic instead.

[The Shoveller]: If we had a billionaire like Lance Hunt as our benefactor... [Mr. Furious]: That's because Lance Hunt IS Captain Amazing! [The Shoveller]: Oh, here we go... [The Shoveller]: Don't start that AGAIN. Lance Hunt wears glasses, Captain Amazing DOESN'T wear glasses. [Mr. Furious]: He takes them off when he transforms... [The Shoveller]: That doesn't make any sense, he wouldn't be able to see!

Very good quiz. You should probably title it as superheroes and villains though.

I also confused Mr Incredible with Mr. Fantastic. I also was looking for Marvel Girl as the answer for Jean Grey

Good Quiz, but just a small update. It was recently revealed that Erik Lehnsherr was an alias, and Magneto's real name is Max Eisenhardt. Yes I am an out and proud comic book geek.

Love that you included Lance Hunt.

Problems: Dick Grayson is a valid answer for Batman too. I'd advise you replace or drop that clue. Maybe add Mr Fantastic instead.
May 12th, 2012 at 04:11 GMT
Lance Hunt can't be Captain Amazing. Lance Hunt wears glasses; Captain Amazing doesn't.

@HalJordan: He takes them off when he transforms...

That doesn't make any sense! He wouldn't be able to see!
May 12th, 2012 at 05:10 GMT
When Ghost Rider came up, I spent a good 10 or so seconds looking for "Nicholas Cage."
May 12th, 2012 at 05:13 GMT
I have to agree with rockgolf on Dick Grayson. I think this error ought to have been corrected before the quiz was published.
May 12th, 2012 at 07:15 GMT
Who in their right mind would pick Dick Grayson before Bruce Wayne for Batman. Also, The Flash has had like four alter-egos, he's Wally West to me.
May 12th, 2012 at 07:47 GMT
But Bruce Wayne isn't Batman....I mean come on, you really expect me to believe that one of the wealthiest people in the world, spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp?
May 12th, 2012 at 10:23 GMT
Gambit. Coolest X-Man. Fact.
May 12th, 2012 at 12:31 GMT
Got to agree with everybody else. Lance Hunt makes this quiz. If you haven't seen Mystery Men, go rent it. @davetrain Total agreement on Batman. And you could have another quiz on which aliases AREN'T Flash. Gambit? Meh.

Good quiz....could have been bigger and contained more obscure heroes. Also could have had some red herring answers - I love clickables that have those. But considering the size, it's too much time. And I agree about eliminating Robin. I did a quick search to make sure Jason Todd or Damien Wayne weren't in there, since Batman hadn't come up yet, and I wanted to make sure you weren't being tricky with Dick.
May 12th, 2012 at 15:38 GMT
The Riddler's name would be E. Nigma. cool
May 12th, 2012 at 18:21 GMT
"Robin" has had multiple secret identities including Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Damian Wayne and if you include Frank Miller's "Dark Knight" series, Carrie Kelley. "Flash" has also had multiple secret identities including Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West and Bart Allen. "Batman" as well has had multiple secret identities including Bruce Wayne, Jean-Paul Valley and Dick Grayson. "Green Lantern" also has had more than one secret identity including Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner as well as a whole host of extraterrestrial GLs. There's been more than one "Wonder Woman", including Diana Prince, Hippolyta, Artemis, and even briefly, Donna Troy. There was even another "Catwoman", Holly Robinson. "Phoenix" has had another secret identity and wasn't there another "Capatain America"? Someone who is a Marvel fan help me out, please.
May 12th, 2012 at 21:20 GMT
@Taja: Bucky Barnes donned Cap's mask after Steve's death.
May 12th, 2012 at 23:20 GMT
@Taja: There were at least 2 other Captain Americas, in addition to Steve and Bucky. One in the 50s while Steve Rogers was frozen, another in the 70s when Rogers quit and another guy (who eventually became US Agent) took over.
May 13th, 2012 at 01:16 GMT
Steve Rogers also pitched in the Major Leagues. Captain America does it all
May 13th, 2012 at 04:01 GMT
13 18 5 = mre = Mr. E = Mystery = Enigma = Edward Nigma
May 13th, 2012 at 04:43 GMT
Hmm, it's true, I never have seen Superman and Clark Kent in the same room at the same time. That must mean... *GASP!* Clark Kent owes Superman money!
May 14th, 2012 at 02:30 GMT
Easy solution to the Batman-Dick Grayson issue is to substitute Tim Drake for Dick. Problem solved.
May 14th, 2012 at 06:26 GMT
I am really surprised that Peter Parker was the most guessed answer over Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne.
May 14th, 2012 at 13:59 GMT
I missed Iceman because Val Kilmer wasn't an option!
May 14th, 2012 at 16:55 GMT
I believe that it was the noted philosopher Bill from "Kill Bill vol. 2" who pointed out that Superman's secret identity is not Clark Kent. Clark Kent's secret identity is Superman. Superman is Superman, and he needs to put on a costume to become Clark Kent. Therefore, you should swap the question and the answer with each other.
May 15th, 2012 at 00:08 GMT
@Taja only a true superhero fan would know those facts, me included #comicnerd
Jul 4th, 2012 at 07:09 GMT
@_the_doctor_ I'm not sure whether to give you + or - 1 for referencing that movie... Joel Schumaker nearly obliterated the franchise...

i don't know why so many people downvoted WredAguyW because he answered HalJordan's quote with the appropriate following quote haha

@magsimus: Yeah I don't get it either. Whatever. I don't lose sleep over thumbs down.
Sep 7th, 2012 at 05:38 GMT
I was a little disappointed there was no Mindy Macready, given the thumbnail.
