| I can't believe some of the cities that didn't make the list. Madrid, Brasilia, and Amsterdam have already been mentioned. What about Brussels, Vienna, Zurich, Barcelona, Milan, Budapest, Warsaw, Kiev, Buenos Aires, Baghdad, Tehran, Istanbul, Cairo, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Manila, Calcutta/Kolkata, Bombay/Mumbai, Cape Town, Nairobi, Casablanca, Tunis, Algiers...? Some of those cities are HUGE. I'd wager that Baghdad and Tehran are in the news more than Ottawa. And Rio de Janeiro?? Like someone is going to confuse that with... what... the other city named that? I know this list is just what the source says and isn't a fault of the quiz-maker. Just frustrating about the gaping omissions on the source list. Interesting idea for a quiz nonetheless. I wouldn't have thought of it. |
