No Kansas City Royals? More losses in the last decade than any team in professional sports. No playoff appearances in the past 25 years.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 03:20 GMT
Good God, what point of 'Bleacher Report quizzes blow donkey nuts' don't people understand.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 03:54 GMT
The LEAFS!!! Haven't won the cup since 1967
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 04:33 GMT
OKC Thunder should be honorable mention for the fact that they are such a good fun team that a city was completely robbed of.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 04:33 GMT
this list is stupid. No NY METS, but the 49ers (who've won 5 superbowls) are ranked 12th??? What a crock.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 04:59 GMT
All of my teams are on the list :( (Indians, Cavs, Browns and BJs)
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 05:02 GMT
Cubs only at 15? I'm still depressed about 2003.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 05:03 GMT
I guess the Miz is the only good thing to come out of Cleveland.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 05:12 GMT
cubs and bills should definitely be higher. sad to see my browns cavs and indians are all top 15 though.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 05:24 GMT
my bills noooooo
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 06:03 GMT
Accept A's for Athletics, please.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 08:36 GMT
I wonder how they determined this list. I definitely would have the Cubs higher. 1908 was a long time ago.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 08:53 GMT
I'm going to have to jump on the bandwagon of saying this source is BS. How are the Royals not on here but the A's (with more WS trophies) are. The Rockets won 2 championships in 94 +95, when's the last time the Raptor did anything good? And the Bears have 7 NFL titles (1 Superbowl), The Cardinals have 1 and it's from 1947!
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 11:33 GMT
@ Deej...do people really refer to the Blue Jackets as the BJ's? That really is depressing!
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 11:39 GMT
any met fan that lived through 2006-2008 knows this list is immediately invalid
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 14:36 GMT
the rockets are not that disappointing, as a houston fan the astros are way more disappointing than the rockets, and the texans are a million times worse every game is agonizing but i guess the haven't been around long enough
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 15:37 GMT
Strange quiz. You would think franchises that have gone more than 40 years without a championship would be near the top. Or franchises that have been around for a long time and never won would be near the top. The next group would be teams that suck every year. Then you would need to add the teams that lost championships multiple times. The Rockets, A's, and Bears have no place on this list.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 15:57 GMT
If you want to make a quiz that gets rated under 3, I highly recommend bleacher report as a source. I wonder if it's the site that the editors of High Times work on when they feel like discussing sports.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 16:03 GMT
Where are the Bengals? They've been both terrible (see the 90s, much of the 2000s), disappointing (2006, 2010) and heartbreaking (two super bowl losses to the Niners, who are inexplicably on this list). So yeah, BR sucks for Sporcle quizzes. Don't use them. At this point, I'm ready to just go ahead and shoot the messenger because they're bad every time.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 16:07 GMT
The 49ers, a team with 5 Super Bowl rings, being on the list makes this list a joke.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 16:22 GMT
As a Vikings fan, I am tremendously disappointed we aren't on this list. My team makes me cry annually.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 16:46 GMT
Im a Preds fan, and considering they make it to the playoffs with the crappy team they have every year, im not disappointed at all
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 16:56 GMT
nashville is good. bruins should not be on this list. and where are the royals? orioles?
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 18:40 GMT
Good job Cleveland..at least we won something
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 19:03 GMT
I was going to pick apart the source but when I clicked the link I got sucked into the "25 hottest blondes in sports" photo spread and found myself magically forgiving Bleacher Report. Yeah, that being said this list is suspect at best.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 19:36 GMT
@emsee no, nobody does, really - usually jackets or jacks - but some people refer to them as the BJs ironically when they are sucking.
Comment below threshold:

Where are the Patriots? They haven't cheated or fluked their way to a Superbowl ring for about 5 years now.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 20:28 GMT
Why are people using bleacher report as a source? this quiz blows.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 20:31 GMT
I'd rather be a Cavaliers fan than a Lions fan (and I am a Lions fan):(
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 21:34 GMT
Ok, I believe that this quiz is not measuring how depressing a franchise has been over its entire history, like most of us probably thought, but rather how depressed a franchise has been the past few years. Therefore, the Cavs are number 1, even though they are certainly not the worst pro sports team of all time; and the 49ers are up there, even though they won 5 Super Bowls. Any thoughts on my theory?
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 21:40 GMT
The Royals definitely need to be on here.
Nov 3rd, 2010 at 22:20 GMT
It doesn't accept Cavs.
Nov 4th, 2010 at 00:26 GMT
where are the leafs? Bruins should not be on here
Nov 4th, 2010 at 00:30 GMT
c'mon, the T'wolves' owners put out an ad in the Minnesota paper saying they weren't gonna contend this year. That's pathetic. Also, David Kahn is their GM. That's reason enough

All quizzes that use Bleacher Report as a source should be BANNED FROM SPORCLE
Nov 4th, 2010 at 03:20 GMT
One and a half good years aside (the last 1.5), the Jets have been fairly miserable for most of their existence. And I don't care about that SB win in 2002, the Bucs were the definition of depression for most of their history.
Nov 4th, 2010 at 06:21 GMT
Speaking as a Chargers fan I don't know how they cannot be on this list. Throughout the years of the Super Bowl era they've either been one of the ****tiest teams in the league or they've looked like surefire Super Bowl contenders only so they can blow it in the playoffs.
Nov 4th, 2010 at 22:12 GMT
How could the Phillies not make this list? They've been like... the worst team ever..
Nov 5th, 2010 at 00:11 GMT
As a Cubs fan, I'm surprised we didn't win this. Maybe next year.
