I miss Law & Order. Thank goodness for TNT!
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 00:49 GMT
OK, seriously, who missed "the"?
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 00:58 GMT
I (my wife) got 100%. I can't believe after all these years how tough it was. Great quiz!

And a theme song that gives hope to bass players everywhere!

"Yes, Ma'am. Would you sign for this package?" (covers mouth, sees dead body)

Wow, I've only seen mass CI and SVU on USA, never really watched the Original Recipe but I knew every word. Guess it's one of those things you pick up through osmosis.
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 03:56 GMT
always thought it was "chung chung" myself
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 06:45 GMT
It's like a TCHOINKG TCHOINKG.

I miss this show. The spin-offs just aren't the same.
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 13:51 GMT
I watch SVU which is slightly different, of course. Didn't quite get there. But I didn't miss "These are their stories." :)
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 19:40 GMT
I also miss the original, especially Jack McCoy :( DUN DUN, that's definitely how it sounds...
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 21:07 GMT
RIP Jerry Orbach

Best show ever, especially the first few years when it had a more philosophical twist to it that pertained to prosecuting cases that you really wanted to let the people go free, but couldn't, because it would result in chaos- at least according to Ben Stone.
Sep 23rd, 2010 at 00:47 GMT
bum BUMMM do do do doot doooooooo ... I *love* that theme song.
Sep 23rd, 2010 at 01:04 GMT
McCoy? I miss Ben Stone. The fire doors to the stairwell in the Science Building at the college I attended sounded like the new scene "music," which Fred Thompson uses as one of the themes on his radio show.

Brisco and Logan = best detective pair ever. As for the hotness of the various ADA's, it goes Serena Southerlyn, Claire Kincaid, Jamie Ross, Abbie Carmichael, Connie Rubirosa, Paul Robinette and Alexandra Borgia in that order. I'm pretty sure Jack hit them all and hit them good. . .especially Robinette. Save yourself the effort of correcting me and saying Robinette and Jack never worked together. He still got wit dat.

Took me half the quiz before I could finally spell "attorneys" correctly.

The first few years were classic with Noth, Sorvino, Florek, and Moriarty. No BS....just cut-to-the-chase drama. I remember it being so refreshing at the time. Epatha Merkerson, Jerry Orbach, and Sam Waterston have been great additions, but those early days were really cool. Richard Brooks and, eventually, Jill Hennessy, who grew up in my town did a great job as well.....great show.

I went to work sleepy a lot of mornings cause I stayed up to watch L&O. Good memories.
Sep 24th, 2010 at 04:35 GMT
Is it possible that when you type "stories," we also get a bonus answer of DUN DUN?
Sep 24th, 2010 at 04:36 GMT
Also, there should be a quiz of all of the openings from all of the shows.
Sep 28th, 2010 at 04:04 GMT
I could have easily done SVU or CI.
Oct 10th, 2010 at 21:37 GMT
this is a very glitchy quiz. i missed four words, "represented", "equally", "important", and the word "and". i typed all of those words in multiple times with no mistakes.
Oct 10th, 2010 at 21:58 GMT
Districts attorney anyone?
Sep 18th, 2011 at 04:05 GMT
Heh, perhaps if I had ever really watched that show ;~)

I've only ever seen Law & Order UK, which is exactly the same (the DUN DUN noise included) except the DA is the CPS and I got all confused as to what it might be in the US version :(
