To respond to rockgolf's original comment- and keep in mind that I have great respect for the man, and I think he's a brilliant quiz maker in addition to a good person- I'm awfully freaking tired of these games. I don't object to their existence, and I'm not going to vote a game down just because it's a "guess the lyrics" quiz (for example, I'm not voting on this one at all), but ETUB was, essentially, correct- literally hundreds and hundreds of these quizzes have been created, and while I don't think every game must be unique, there's definitely nothing original about this quiz or any of the other scores of "guess the lyrics" quizzes.
Additionally, here's another, fairly sizable issue: RG brings up the point that every song is a different game, but how do you know a song hasn't been done already? This isn't a quiz where you can search for it before creating it, so it's quite possible that this song (or any other song) has previously been made into a game, but you wouldn't know it unless you played every single one of the hundreds of other quizzes of this type. |
