Also try - American Chocolate Bars!
I have substituted every letter of the alphabet with a different letter. The substitution is the same for all clues. This candy is or was more widely distributed in Canada than the USA! Good luck!

Some of these are sold in other countries, as well as Canada, but most will be unfamiliar to Americans. Some may not be in distribution any more - haven't seen the URL in ages. Even if you have never heard of these, use your brainpower and solve away!

Really fun! But I didn't have enough time. (I may just be slow.)

Okay, I cheated and did them on paper first. Thank heavens for Coffee Crisp for making it easy to get started.

So CHUD means something quite different in Canada, eh?

I believe a lot of these trace their origins to Britain (I remember when Smarties and Kit Kat were Rowntree branded, not Nestlé). Quite a few entries on the list where the bar is merely something tasty coated in a layer of chocolate. Not that I'm complaining about that, mind!

"Soooo...how do you like your coffee?" "Crisp!" "You like your coffee crisp?!" And yeah, Rowntree was so much better than Nestle. Aero and Kit Kat especially taste much different now.
