	I like the idea of this quiz, and you have a valid point in asking if WAR can always determine the best player in the league. However, it's just as easy to imply that numbers such as these indicate that the recipient of this award is not often the most deserving (or perhaps there have just been years with few players who stand out significantly from the league average).

	Yeah @swills13, that's pretty much what I was getting at with the question (maybe didn't go indepth enough because of the character limit haha). There are a couple other quizzes on Sporcle that address the opposite, where you try and name the highest WAR by year (as a "deserving" MVP) and it also lists where they finished in MVP voting that year, sometimes as low as 18th if I remember. I think there are many things to be said on both sides, as I also think WAR can be an imperfect statistic, but either way it's interesting to me!

	interesting quiz. And there are some caveats here, too. Fingers' WAR for a strike year, really isn't all that bad. Did he deserve it? No, but I don't think any RP does. I think you can look back without the benefit of WAR and see that Stargell, Dawson, Gonzalez and Baylor didn't deserve their awards. Pops got it because of his September and 3 got by way of RBI. And those credentials are still being debated today...
