	Does anyone know how to make it so the answers don't need to be in order WITHIN categories? I would like to make this quiz such that you need to pick the right category for the right president but not know the exact order, because I think it's too difficult as it is.

	@wtncffts: Unfortunately, I don't think that's possible, but it would be an interesting idea to implement. You're indeed right though, it would significantly improve the quiz.

	@Phillyfan362: yeah, I was surprised about that. I guess Grant had a different kind of IQ than standard IQ tests measure. @hollabackitsobi: Hmm, that's too bad. I could swear I've done quizzes like that before, but I guess not.

	Before any more nitwits out there try to start a flame war, here are some hard numbers to chew on. Average IQs per party are as follows (with # of presidents in parenthesis): NONE(1) = 133, FEDERALIST(1)=143, DEMOCRATIC-REPUBLICAN(4)=147, DEMOCRAT(15)=135, WHIG(4)=133, REPUBLICAN(18)=132. Bottom line: if you are not a member of the long-defunct Democratic-Republican party of the early 19th century, we really, truly, sincerely don't want to hear you spout off about whether Dems or Reps are smarter.

	Estimated is right. Jefferson was known to be a extremely intelligent. FDR made that famous quote about how smart he was. (Google search: "When Jefferson dined alone." GW Bush, in my opinion should be higher. MBA from Yale and a jet pilot. (That takes some smarts). Truman also should be higher. Bottom line: Chriskotx is right: Intelligence and wisdom is not synonymous.

	I absolutely agree that intelligence and wisdom are not synonymous. Remember, this is an estimate only of what is tested on standard IQ tests. And actually, one of the points of the article (of which, I'm sorry it's not publicly accessible) is that W Bush isn't as 'dumb' as he was made out to be - even the lowest scoring Presidents are 'above average', at about a college graduate level.

	140-145 is generally considered "genius" level, not 12o as Booster_Gold indicated.

	I would love to read that paper because, as far as methodology goes, I can't even imagine how you'd go about measuring IQ (an exam based metric) with only the historical record. Not the quiz maker's fault, and not a bad quiz, but I'm not sure I can rely on this as water cooler knowledge at work.

	I've seen a few of these with completely different ratings, including several below IQ of 100... so I wouldn't trust these results implicitly.
