What about USS Arizona (1,177 killed at Pearl Harbor)? Or USS Franklin (724 killed after kamikaze attack in March 1945)? Or Japanese battleship Musashi (1,023 killed)? Odd that you include the Yamato (though spelled incorrectly) but not her sister ship Musashi....

apologies to hellhound and esumme, my source was bad. will update. except spelling, always spell it wrong as a kid in my class at school had Kamoto for his surname.
