	I am incredibly impressed that a quiz of 50/50 questions has an average score of just barely more than 50% right. It would be easy to do that with a bunch of really obscure subject matter, but I just kept feeling like I should know this stuff. Except for Poohsticks...cuz that was just silly (but fun).

	on wikipedia, i know not reliable, it says that usa got universal suffrage after the uk claiming that in the south many african americans still couldn't actually vote due to racist laws until the 1960's??

	@deugea and glueyfigners: Yes, they ate off of pieces of stale bread called "trenchers," precursors to the modern "bread bowl". @DSweet: Following the passage of the 19th Amendment, in 1920 every person of voting age was allowed to vote. Many laws were passed in the South to stop blacks from voting, but the quiz is clearly looking at official dates.

	I've checked various sources, all stating eBay came in september 1995, while Amazon.com was founded in 1994 (although the website came later at a to me unknown date). So if you take website launch date, eBay may have won, but official founding of eBay and amazon.com give Amazon.com a first.

	The domain Amazon.com was registered on 01-Nov-1994 while ebay.com was registered on 1995-08-03 and auctionweb.com on 17-Sep-1995 (I can't easily find out if auctionweb.com was the precursor to the ebay site).

	@kevin98789: I doubt it's so much 'American Idol Winners' as it is 'First American Idol Winner.' If two more random winners were picked, like Kris Allen and Jordin Sparks (yes, I looked that up) it'd have a much much lower get rate.

	I once read that if you are given a question with only 2 answers and you have no idea which one is correct that there is a 90% chance of you picking the wrong one!!!!!!!!!!

	I don't like how the plate was a scapegoat for an incorrect answer, being terribly played by the shrewd fork. It didn't even need plates back in its prime. That fork's got game.

	Excellent quiz. However, I think "universal suffrage" is a really ambiguous term. If you mean enfranchising women, say that. If you mean enfranchising those who were not property owners, say that. (The US is the best answer for both of those.) However, if we are talking about race, it's very difficult to argue that the US "enacted" suffrage for nonwhites before the passage of the Voting Rights Act in the 1960s. If we are talking about enfranchising youth, the UK allowed 18-year-olds to vote before the US did, (and is much closer to allowing 16-year-olds to vote than the US is).

	Universal suffrage is definitely ambiguous - UK gave votes to women in 1918 but with a property franchise and US 1920 with no property restriction not to mention the de facto ban on Africa-Americans in many ex-Confederate states

	How is 'Universal Suffrage' ambiguous? It's very clear, the answer is wrong, if you prevent even one person from voting based on their genetic traits then you don't have universal sufferage.

	In reference to comments on the universal suffrage question, the 15th Amendment to the US Constitution reads "The right...to vote shall not be denied or abridged...on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude." Regardless of whether this right was enforced, especially in the South, it was granted with the amendment's passing.
