| I liked that movie, I really did, and probably would be enjoying it again. But of course Jackson's movies changed how you look at some of them, so these seem to depict the books wrong (although many things in the movies was really close to how I imagined it before, especially Minas Tirith was copied directly from my brain stem I think. If you don't like it, now you know whom to complain to). So we really have to give Bakshi's depictions some leeway. All that I wrote only to say: yes, 8 and 16 are terrible (and 19 is too sneaky as well). |
