	I do think Alex should count, as well as Henry Cho, because they both constituted mutual interest. But if Tristan counts, then you need to get into the murky realm that is Marty, Robert (the guy Rory went out with to make Logan jealous), Paul (the kid Lorelai went out with once), etc.

	It's been said, but Rory never dated Tristan. She couldn't stand him. Paris had a date with Tristan, though, so if you want to include him, it should be with Paris, not Rory.

	tristan and marty shouldn't count. but alex definitely should for lorelai. they went on very explicitly labeled dates and even went to new york overnight with cookie and jackson.
