The list immediately loses all credibility with Iverson on there instead of Oscar Robertson.

i agree..iverson doesnt belong on this list. i also believe it is a little too early to put lebron james on this list.

Maravich also doesn't belong on here, he put up big numbers but didn't accomplish anything in the playoffs. Where are Big O and Olajuwon? And how could LeBron and AI make it over Shaq and Duncan?

I agree. As much as I respect the guy, Iverson over Robertson, Erving, Cousy, Havlicek, Olajuwon, Robinson, Stockton, Karl/Moses Malone...etc? Dumb list to base a quiz on.

I would take out James, Iverson, and Maravich and put in Robertson, Olajuwon, and Stockton.

I also looked at the website and it had Luke Walton as the 24th best player of all time and J.J. Redick as the 26th best player of all time...... Redick has never started a full year and Walton hasn't scored more than 15 ppg in a season....

there is an obvious top 8 oscar robertson, magic johnson, mj, kareem, russell, bird, chamberlain and shaq after those 8 i could care less who u put up there but any nba historian will tell u there is a clear top 8 the next couple could be lebron and kobe or duncan elgin baylor jerry west and number of people but if you knew anything about the history of basketball there is a consenos top 8

1. Michael Jordan 2. Wilt Chamberlain 3. Bill Russell 4. Magic Johnson 5. Larry Bird 6. Shaquille O'Neal 7. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 8. Tim Duncan 9. Hakeem Olajuwon 10. Oscar Robertson ... James, Iverson and Maravich are nowhere near the Top 10, you can't even start making arguments for them until Top 20 or Top 25.

how has no one mentioned Dr. J!?!?!?!?!?!?! what about earl the pearl monroe or walt frazier. It is hard to put 20 guys into a top ten and it is all just our personal preferences. But James and Iverson would never make my list.

Need to accept all the last names (West, Robertson, O'Neal - with and without the apostrophe). Just find an old SI list or something to use as a source so people will stop complaining about who does and doesn't belong.

still a mess olajuwon spelled wrong, allow oneal without the apostrophe, didnt take west or robertson for some reason. i'm guessing because you added them later but only as full names whereas the other names accepted only last names so if their last names didnt do it the guesser just moves on. please clean it up

Karl Malone- 2nd all-time leading scorer. John Stockton- all-time leader in assists and steals. Where's the love for Utah?
