This is a lot easier than taking each sports quiz individually. Great idea for a quiz

As I'm not American and haven't got a clue about American sports, I had fun naming different animals :D

122/122!!! @pbrown I actually found this harder because I had to divide each sport into their respective divisions in my head and couldn't keep track of which teams from which divisions remained. That was a blast! I had 19 seconds left when I finally remembered the Toronto Raptors.

This was so much fun! I was missing six or seven but I went through and looked at the other sports and it helped me remember. Thanks sporcle!

122/122, but the alphabetical order helped me fill in some blanks. Am I the only one who found that it wouldn't accept "Red Wings", but that you had to type "Detroit Red Wings?"

Neither "Red Wings" nor "Redwings" are accepted on their own...shouldn't they be?

when i typed "detroit redwings", it finally accepted... and im with you dwilli, took until 1:23 to remember those damn raptors. and i only got it then because i started to look up cities alphabetically from the other 3 lists and stumbled upon the blue jays. great quiz though, its hard to stay focused and not scramble.

I just typed in loads of animals as well. There should really be a team called the Giraffes or Koala Bears.

Calgary Flames tormented me, really hurts to fall one short. It helps once you fill in sports because you can check what cities you're missing in the other ones. Too bad no other sport has a team in Calgary.

I guess they fixed it, because it took Red Wings for me just fine. Going division by division is the easiest way to sail through this quiz.

118, couldn't remember the name of Nashville's hockey team and forgot 2 teams from my Stars division because they are a different city in the metro area (Anaheim and SJ). And I could have had 20 minutes and I wouldn't have thought of Charlotte's basketball team.

46... not bad for a Brit I guess, can't believe I missed the Knicks! Not to worry. As a side question, I know they're correct as they are in the quiz, but how come it's not 'Kansas City Chieves' or 'Toronto Maple Leaves'?

A little redundant waht with the individual sports quizzes, but a good challenge to do all at once and without the divisional breakdowns. I was quite surprised I got them all on the first try since even when I do them individually I usually forget some. Last ones that nearly tripped me up were the Utah Jazz and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Got all 122. Tried to break it down by division by found myself skipping teams and then having a hard time going back and remembering where I was. Last team for me was the Portland Trail Blazers.

Joe_Ball: Well, the plural of "chief" is "chiefs", so that's why on that one. The Maple Leafs...well, the Leafs are just weird.
Kevin

@Joe_Ball - If I'm not mistaken, Chiefs is indeed the plural of Chief. As for the Leafs, well, sports teams are funky with pluralization. What do you call a single player on Boston's baseball team?
mungar

The Maple Leafs are not Maple Leaves, because it is in reference to the Canadian flag, which has a maple leaf on it. It is not referring to several maple leaves from a tree, just the nation's symbol. Therefore, the plural of that one item would simply add an 's'.

@Kevin: I've heard the singular for Red Sox as "Red Sock". For example, "He is on the Red Sox" or "He is a Red Sock".

good quiz got 122/122 w/ 2 minutes remaining, but I think St. Louis teams should be listed before the San ___ teams since St. is short for saint. took me forever to think of the Sharks because of this

120/122. I don't think that on these kinds of quizzes, no matter what, I will ever remember the Portland Trail Blazers or the Kansas City Royals. If I had the division listing I could do it, but without them I just forget those teams.

God it was so frustrating to be one team short (mine happened to be the Senators). I'm sure many of us had that experience. Really fun quiz though.

Looking at the most missed is pretty interesting. Its a pretty good representation of the sizes of each team's fanbase as well. Except for maybe the Reds. While they are the oldest organization in MLB, I'm pretty sure a good chunk of their points came from the Red Sox.
