This was my first time trying a music quiz, so please let me know if there's anything wrong. I apologize if the songs come up too quickly, I couldn't figure out how to do a 1 second gap. Enjoy!

Good choice of songs, but there are problems with the execution. Forcing the quiztakers to click on whichever slot they're trying to guess is totally unnecessary for this kind of quiz, and since you're not even giving us a gap between the clips, it makes the whole thing even more frenzied.

I concur, get rid of the part where you force clicking the correct slot and it would be loads better. Good quiz though.

This is really nice, I enjoyed it. Definitely a different experience than my quiz, with the likes Taylor Swift/Miley Cyrus, which is really cool to see. Good decision to include classic songs in the mix too though, so you could appeal to a broader audience. You grasped the concept really well, and it was nice execution and a really good job for your first time trying a music quiz. Keep em coming.

can't believe no one has covered this yet. The Bon Jovi song is called "Shot Through the Heart" and you should accept Hot and Cold, since its just logistics otherwise i liked it

It's not called that though is it.

It's not "Carol of the Bells". The actual title is "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)", originally performed by Savatage on their album Dead Winter Dead. If you credit TSO, you have to credit Savatage, as they just took the song of DWD and slapped it onto TSO's first album, without changing or even rerecording it, a year later.

@moterola, I've seen both titles around the Internet, but both are accepted in this quiz. Thanks everyone else for the feedback!

I missed the last one because I thought it was called "Christmas Eve IN Sarajevo." And I agree that "Hot and Cold" should be acceptable.

All suggestions for acceptable answers have been updated. Also, the artist playing the song in the clip is TSO, even though it's not theirs originally. The same can be said about Rascal Flatts' song on here.

I love you for including TSO/Savatage. (Both versions are equally awesome, so good call on accepting both) Though to be annoying, I believe it was technically called "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" when Savatage released it, and "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" when TSO did it. I don't think Sporcle really pays attention to punctuation, so it shouldn't make a difference - not it would anyway. Oh, and props for including Yellowcard. :)

Needs more variety. The others had classic hip-hop like Nas's "The World Is Yours" and Wu-Tang Clan's "C.R.E.A.M.". This, however, focuses on modern top 40 pop and 80's radio pop. Blech.

@hollabackitsobi, needs more variety??? So Dude Looks Like A Lady, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Train, Baba O' Riley, and Hey Jude is 80's radio pop???? This quiz has songs from 5 decades, hard rock, soft rock, pop, country, rap, and Christmas music. You, are wrong.

hollaback, this title of this quiz is "Best of Past And Present". Guess what "Best of Present" means? Modern top 40! That like someone complaining on a 20th century presidents quiz that it needs more 19th century presidents.

It would be a great idea to change "Baba O'Riley" to "Baba O'Reilly" because that's how it's spelled. Pete Townshend and everyone else thank you. Otherwise, nice quiz.
