	What andr said. If you allow a major change like that there are some flags that should be on here that have changed dramatically less (like the Swedish flag whose only change is to go from swallow-tailed (double-tailed) to square formed, and the Russian flag which has been in use as-is since 1668)

	@dyster: Did you forget about those years of the U.S.S.R., with the old hammer and sickle flag? I don't think Lenin and Stalin were too keen on using the old "Imperial" flag!

	The current flags for Norway, France, Austria, Romania and Turkey (and probably others) haven't been in continuous use since the dates listed. (Though for France, the right date would still earn it a spot on the list.) If the date of first adoption of the flag in current use (whether continuous or not) is the one being used here, then Russia and others should be on here
