I think this is flawed as virtually all the units fought in different battles. How are we supposed to know that you want the US Infantry for Normandy as opposed to all the other US combat arms involved in Normandy? I also thought you were looking for spefic groups (eg 1st British Airbourne or 101st Airbourne or XXX Corps at Arnhem) not catch all groups like British Airborne or Royal Marines. Being a Royal Marine myself I can tell you that less than 1/3 of the Royal Marines strength actually fought in Sicily and our main effort was in Normandy and Burma

I tried to put the most famous battle for each. I will work on allowing specific divisions as answers. (its speelled airborne by the way). The Infantry Corps particpated in many battles, so i took the largestmost well known one, When i do say invasion of normandy, i dont just mean the fighting on the beach heads.
