Lots of very big channels here. Want to mix it up next time, Sporcle?

Thank God you have to pick the specific network. I actually didn't mind the extreme easy (for Americans) factor, but I would agree that any sequels (and there is plenty of room for that) should be more obscure networks.

The ABC and HBO ones are on the verge of too easy. I was expecting obscure channels. ESPN the Ocho?

Couldn't figure out TNT. I know they have to take the letters out so it won't be obvious (E!, VH1), but when all you're left with is a plain circle ...

I think just "Nick" should be acceptable for Nickelodeon. Or maybe just "Nic."

I'm proud that I got 100%. Being 16, I think it's expected that I don't know some of these because of my teenaged ignorance.

I had no idea there was an nfl network. Why, then is football on practically every channel in October?

cpennylane: Because the NFL, along with the networks broadcasting the NFL, make a lot more money by showing their product on the mega-networks, as opposed to a special-order cable channel.

I'm excited for the possibility of a sequel that's a little less mainstream and perhaps US focused.

A few international channels (Canada, UK) would have been nice. The CBC logo, for example is quite elegant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:CBC_Logo_1992-Present.svg

Is it sad that I rarely if ever get more than 50% of the answers in a quiz right yet I immediately knew every answer here except for TNT? On literature quizzes I'm at like 15% correct and most of those are from guessing...I think I need to watch less TV.

Sadly Nickelodeon will be rebranding its iconic 25-year-old "orange splat" later this month. IMHO, the new logo is a big step backward: http://popwatch.ew.com/2009/08/04/nickelodeons-new-logo-what-the-splat/

it seems as though only being able two guess two or three networks is a compliment for this quiz....or a sign that you don't have cable

Over half for a non-cable watching non-American. Not bad. I kept thinking that about 4 of those would be the National Geographic channel. Why does FX look decidedly like Fox?

because fx is owned by fox. I honestly thought FX was like the british/international branch of it which is why i didnt get it. Fun quiz. hoping for a non-American one in the future.

The Discovery and Animal Planet logos are both nearly two years out-of-date. Discovery's still has the globe but APL's is way different.
