Jeez, because of these stupid mines (which are horrible every time), I must've put a good 60 hits on this quiz, trying to get all of them right. Damascus = correct. Dinant = WRONG. Please change this, as to not frustrate a bunch of others. How did no one else post this yet?

You are correct regarding Damascus...an error. Thank you. Dinant, however, is correct (Rommel crossed the Meuse there in 1940 and was counterattacked as he developed his bridgehead)

Haha, sorry for the obvious frustration. I was digging my nails into this quiz for about a half hour trying to get all the answers! Really though, the titles says "WWII Battles". Rommel got some resistance in Dinant trying to cross the Meuse, but there really wasn't a "Battle of Dinant". That's like the Japanese invading the Aleutians. There was action on the Aleutians, but it wasn't the "Battle of Alaska". See what I'm saying? There was a "Battle of Damascus" though, as we've both mentioned. You did a good job, though, of picking the battle names in general. "Gallipoli" is so engrained in my head as an important battle, I must have clicked on it about 6 times in my trek through your quiz!
