For the first time in my life, my knowledge that the Olympics used to feature Art events has come in handy! I must say, though - I have no idea what Shinglesticks is, but it sure sounds painful...

Okay, I chuckled at 'motor boating' and promptly categorised it as a joke answer. Are you sure motorboat racing isn't the phrasing you're looking for?

@rychu_supadude: Singlestick is a type of martial art using wooden sticks used to train soldiers in the use of swords. Here is a picture of sailors training with them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Singlestick.jpg. @citkeane: Yeah, that does come across kind of funny, but I used the term that was on the site. :)
