pandafan : May 4th, 2011 at 10:30 GMT 2 points Fun quiz. Thanks.
Comment below threshold: show it slamb : May 4th, 2011 at 19:51 GMT -7 points You shouldn't have to answer these in order.
Sarahbelle : May 5th, 2011 at 00:22 GMT 11 points @slamb - I think the reason for it is the few duplicate answers. This is one of those quizzes that needs to be forced answer, otherwise people would complain it was too easy.
triviahappy : May 5th, 2011 at 01:29 GMT 5 points Thanks for the pick Sarahbelle. :)
schmeddy : May 5th, 2011 at 15:11 GMT 2 points great job

SPOTSMAN33 : May 25th, 2011 at 05:35 GMT 10 points chicken run?
Westley : May 25th, 2011 at 05:48 GMT 1 point There's a 1938 novel called "The Ugly Dachshund" that was later made into a Disney movie -- that should be accepted along with "The Ugly Duckling."
KarenX : May 25th, 2011 at 08:17 GMT -2 points It was nice, I guess, to get the bonus answer for Dragon, but there is a book and a movie called "The Red Dragon" that is at least as literary as Clan of the Cave Bear. It would be nice if that answer were credited as correct.
WeaselKing1000 : May 25th, 2011 at 09:20 GMT 5 points It'd be nice to have different animals each time, instead of two rabbits and three mice (granted, one is pluralised, if that's not an oxymoron). Much as I love both of these creatures.
climber_v12 : May 25th, 2011 at 09:24 GMT -3 points Please accept dog for Along Came a ------. Though less famous, I have seen a book called that.
slamb : May 25th, 2011 at 09:49 GMT 1 point Poe's The Black Cat has been read by more people than The Black Stallion.
TAR2 : May 25th, 2011 at 11:52 GMT 1 point The clue for "of mice and men" stopped me in my tracks for a few seconds. I thought it was a trick question. While technically, you could say "mouses", nobody actually does, especially in such a recognizable title.
bowsntoys : May 25th, 2011 at 13:53 GMT 3 points Great Game! Wants me to dust off those books in the bookcase!
steel03 : May 25th, 2011 at 14:03 GMT 12 points I don't think the note about Of Mice and Men is necessary. That's a logical leap I believe we can all make. Or if you must asterize it, maybe don't worry about it being irregular. I can see that being confusing. And anyway, it's such an easy one. I don't think many people will have a lot of trouble getting it without a hint...
LockeDemosthenes : May 25th, 2011 at 15:13 GMT 4 points @KarenX -- If you are talking about the novel by Thomas Harris, the title is simply "Red Dragon," so it doesn't fit the given clue.
Bob91351 : May 25th, 2011 at 15:22 GMT 5 points I was hoping for bonuses for a very hungry hippo and for giving a wookie a cookie
Mr_Anchovy : May 25th, 2011 at 18:21 GMT 1 point Having "mouse" twice, in addition to "mice"? Surely there were other animal books out there to choose from...
poppysmom : May 25th, 2011 at 18:55 GMT 0 points PLEASE!!! Real whiners on this quiz. Is there really more than one person who would first choose The Ugly Dachshund rather than The Ugly Duckling? The answers are not randomly done, so having more than one mouse is really not an issue. Thinking Hungry Hippo is a game not a book...
RonB : May 25th, 2011 at 19:24 GMT 1 point No worries. Nothing to complain about here.
yellowcrayon : May 25th, 2011 at 20:27 GMT 4 points I definitely wouldn't say Poe's "The Black Cat" has been read by more people than "The Black Stallion," but it would be nice if "cat" were accepted especially since the description specifies that stories (which I assumed meant short stories too, perhaps mistakenly) were included. Lovely quiz though and well-researched, a lot of different genres represented.
AnotherSchmoe : May 25th, 2011 at 21:09 GMT 2 points Oh gosh... I can't believe I forgot The Rainbow Fish. My childhood will never forgive me! Nice quiz. :D
HP_LOVEIT7 : Jun 13th, 2011 at 18:43 GMT 4 points i can't believe i typed in "the very hungry hippo"
laughing_girl : Jun 23rd, 2011 at 17:09 GMT 3 points i was expecting it to be easy, like Mrs Frisby and the ______ of Nimh or Red ___ Blue ___One ___Two ___ ! :D this was truly challenging. great quiz!
Gusgus : Aug 24th, 2011 at 04:00 GMT 1 point Was glad to see I was in the high majority of people who have never heard of The Red Pony.... otherwise, great quiz.
CandyQueen16 : Sep 11th, 2011 at 03:16 GMT 3 points Man! I missed one because I couldn't spell cuckoo!
KayKay1 : Sep 12th, 2011 at 12:16 GMT 1 point chicken run? no?... really?
alpha : Oct 5th, 2011 at 21:30 GMT 1 point How about ____ of the Kremlin
drowningbarbie : Jan 3rd, 2012 at 11:42 GMT 2 points there's an indigenous australian story called 'the rainbow serpent', which i tried and failed
hr_312 : Apr 5th, 2013 at 19:55 GMT 1 point rabbit run? surely its chicken run!
