Looks like I don't know much about spaniels. Fun quiz though.

I'd pare down the time a bit. Also get rid of or make Brittany's a bonus as their name isn't technically Brittany Spaniel. Good quiz though.

ChipTaco, you're right about the Brittany. I had debated whether to include it. When they talk about the breed, even on the AKC site, sometimes they refer to it as the Brittany spaniel, although Brittany is it's name. So I took your suggestion and made it a bonus. I edited the time to 5 minutes, but so far it hasn't changed when the game comes up to play.

Doesn't have to do with the quiz (though it was fun), how does one make a bonus answer?
Mar 27th, 2010 at 14:27 GMT
Crazy: On the page where you enter data, you type in whatever you want as a bonus in the same way as you enter the other data. But you also add ee (two small ee's) in the last extra column. Also, make sure any bonus answers are the last item(s) that are entered. They must be below the data you want to appear in the quiz. Hope that helps. :)

Thank you very much, trivia!

The Tibetan Spaniel technically isn't a spaniel, so I personally wouldn't include it. Great quiz though.

Brittany used to be named Brittany Spaniel, hence the reason it is often used. They eventually decided it wasn't a spaniel, and dropped the word.

@gowhere: That's why it's a bonus. @07bargem: I included it because the quiz is asking for breeds that have "spaniel" as part of their name. :)

@triviahappy: I agree with your decision - just giving a bit of the history as to why many people still use it.

english working cocker??
Feb 21st, 2012 at 18:37 GMT
@hens162: This quiz only includes breeds recognized by the AKC. English working cocker is not on their list. It is also not on the UKC's list of recognized breeds. :)
