Good idea! :) I do think you shouldn't have to type 'white' before chocolate though, since you don't have to before bread or rice. Also, since the icecream could be vanilla or white chocolate, I think maybe just 'icecream' should be enough as an answer.

I wish my Web browser could convey flavours. That would have made it easier to distinguish feta from halloumi or tofu, and mayonnaise from aioli. On the other hand, I would have looked really silly licking the screen.

@Q_Pheevr: I like your sense of humour! :p Aioli is so similar to mayonnaise I'll add it in as an alternative. I might add in halloumi as an alternative for feta as it is still a type of solid white cheese, but I'm not sure whether to put in tofu as an alternative as well.

I've taken Q_Pheevr's suggestion. It has a dry, but bright and tingly body with a musty bouquet! I'd have preferred the soup, or even the mayo.

Also, glad to see Kendal mint cake receiving due attention! :)

Sorry emmafrisbee, I've accepted the inevitable and changed the Kendal mint cake - I thought it was just that bit too obscure for all the non-British Sporclers. I've changed it to something a bit better-known instead.

Can you accept "almonds"? I didn't know the blanched part.

^done. 'Almond' was in as an alternative already, so it should now accept the singular and the plural.

This was fun, another great quiz from triplet_3 - though I did have a bit of trouble identifing the meat... :-)

How about accepting cream cheese (as in Philadelphia)- that's what it looked like to me!

I tried "soup", but that didn't work, so I tried "chowder." Still didn't work. Of course, I didn't think to try "clam chowder" for some reason. And I feel dumb for missing the almonds, but in my defense, I am used to almonds with their skins on.

Feta looks too much like tofu, and the mayo like whipped butter.

@montylaw: which image did you think was cream cheese? The feta?

please accept new england clam chowder since that is technically what it is, as manhattan clam chowder is red.

@sunnyskates8: thanks for the feedback, I hadn't heard of manhattan clam chowder so didn't know about that. I've changed the quiz result to New England clam chowder. @EuphrasieF: I've added in 'chowder' as an alternative.

Yum, a nice bowl of mayonnaise. That would really hit the spot!

If you want to stick with feta cheese. I would show a picture of it in its crumbled form, as that would clear up the tofu confusion.

Please accept great northern beans for cannellini beans. Other than that, good quiz.

Couldn't figure out feta...I knew it was cheese, but I've always seen feta cheese in crumbles, not in blocks.

I also missed feta. I thought it might be tofu also, but then got stuck on ricotta salata. How I never made the leap to feta is beyond me. Nice quiz!
