Vickie and Vicki and Valeria? I almost got 100% and would have if not for those... well, and Vivian, which I can blame myself for. But I did try shortened versions/alterations of some names and they weren't on there, and if I knew that that didn't matter I would have guessed them despite "Victoria" being on there.

If I tried for a million years I would never have got Verna. Thanks, triplet!

Viola? I didn't know people named their kids after musical instruments back then.

Statto2 -- no love deserve for those... I actually typed "Vickie", only to find that it "took" after the second "i". I need to do it again -- other than that and the STD, this one was easier for me than most of the letters

Arrgh, I got Vicki, but not Vickie as well as Valerie but not Valeria. I was spelling Vivian with an e. So close.

Every time I do one of these puzzles, I think of all those kids born in the 1880s who have all passed on, and it makes me sad. I know that's weird, but I guess I'm weird like that. Sorry to be a downer.

When you're so desperate that you try "Vesuvius", it's unlikely you're going to mount a comeback.

I like how the color scheme gives a hint for one of the names.

I was lucky enough to have known a Verna. However, I also knew a Virginia and I totally missed that one.

And as far as the name Valeria goes, I can only hear it in Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice.

I missed Vera, Veronica, and Vanessa. I don't know how! I never knew there were that many "V" names.

I ended up getting pretty desprate. Look... "Vagina" is a beautiful name if you ignore the meaning. That's my justification and I'm sticking to it.

You know when you read a word too many times and it starts to look like a meaningless jumble of letters? In this case, it happened to my own name. *sob*
